An auto-draft is a computer picking your the best available player for that position. If you are not doing a auto-draft you should pick players with a history of outstanding performance.

To help you make the best team, pick your players by the reliability that you will have to choose them. Such as picking a very wanted player for in the draft


After the draft, take some time to research your players, know their history, recent injuries(if they have any), and yearly performance charts.
